Sublime Head of Buddha in sandstone from the Ayutthaya period, 16th century. 29 cm x 17 cm x 18 cm (human size) 39 cm including the stand. Sculpture of great refinement, the details are still clearly visible. The face presents half-closed eyes. Ancient traces of lacquer and gilding (probably golden lacquer, used later during the Ayutthaya period) . Quality object! Kanaka The Collection. Sent with a certificate of authenticity.
