Buermann Whirling Log, Good Luck Spurs
Available here for your consideration is a rare pair of Buermann spurs with the Whirling log, or "good luck" pattern. Buermann Spurs are one of the most famous makers in Cowboy Spur history and they were one of the first to put out a mail order catalog. Like many other spur makers, the majority of their spurs were made from iron. However, Buermann also used two other types of metal known as "Star Steel Silver" and the other was "Hercules Bronze". These are marked "Star Steel Silver" and feature the whirling log design which you don't see many surviving pairs of since they quit using it in the late 1930s and so many items with this pattern got destroyed because of the connotation and resemblance to the Nazi Swastika. This is a great chance to own a fairly rare pair of Spurs.
