Bureau de dame in Louis XVI style, made of rosewood with herringbone inlays. The cabinet has four tapered legs with brass feet typical of the Louis XVI style, the top above the central drawer is removable, above the top are two retractable shutters, enclosing a compartment with a series of small drawers inside. The body has been restored respecting its original patina and polished with shellac to highlight the different and precious types of wood. Period: 1880/1900. Style: Louis XVI. Wood: rosewood and oak. Decorations: gilt bronze. Dimensions: width 72 cm x height 96 cm x depth 45 cm x 63 cm (open top) . * Leather is not original. It has been replaced.
