12th century AD. A white glass inkpot with rosette base, pelletted roundels to the body, dentilled shoulder, discoid lid with flange rim, tiered body and flange finial. 111 grams, 95mm (3 3/4"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s.
