Nineteenth-century quarter buckram, gilt-lettered, boards; some wear. The consignor has independently obtained a letter of authenticity from PSA that will accompany the lot.
The first English-language newspaper in China. The paper was published in Canton (now Guangzhou) from 1827 to 1843. Rare.
