Firmly upholstered and dressed in grey upholstery, legs painted in matching colour, back with buttons in red, orange, yellow, green and pink, hand embroidered with the message “HOME SWEET HOME” above the left hind leg, tray marked and fitted with wallpaper label from 2009, length 195, height 87, seat height 42 cm.

HISTORIAN
In connection with the Malmstensbutik reopening on Strandvägen 5B in 2009, Samsas, the 1960s classic was presented in a new limited special edition produced by the artist and designer Pontus Djanaieff. In keeping with Djanaieff's characteristic playfulness, this reinterpretation of Samsas dressed in bold color combinations and embroidered messages creates an interplay between tradition and new thinking.Show more
