CARTIER - a 1960s 18ct gold sapphire and diamond brooch. Comprising three textured leaves to a branch, each with brilliant-cut diamond or circular sapphire cabochon highlight. Signed Cartier, N 8538. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Import marks for London, 1969. Length 3.5cms. Weight 8.4gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Some small dents to the end of branch, not immediately visible when worn.
Diamond bright with very few, small, dark, scattered inclusions.
Individual size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Sapphires are a well matched dark blue hue.
Sapphires are in good condition with minor abrasions.
