CARTIER - a pair of gold cufflinks. Each designed as two engraved lattice panels, hinged to the connecting baluster bar. Signed Cartier, 2739. Length of cufflink face 1.4cms. Weight 21.1gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Reverse of two of the panels engraved 'C.G.C.'.
Metal electronically tests as approximately 14ct gold.
With French assay marks for 9ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
