CASED COLT 1911 WWI 2nd BATTLE OF THE MARNES

SERIAL 4477-M2. BARREL 5" CALIBER .45 ACP. This is one of a set of (4) Colt 1911 WW1 Commemorative pistols. These four pistols completed a set of Colt 1911’s WW1 Commemoratives for Allied WW1 battles. Each 1911 has engraved slides with battle depictions and special grips with medallions for each battle. The battles each one commemorates are Battle of Chateau Thierry, Meuse Argonne Offense, Belleau Wood, and 2nd Battle of Marne. Each pistol has a blued finish with gold engravings. Each have bright bores and come with their own display cases with a map of battle and information of the battle on back of the map. Pre series 70 Colts but only two have matching numbers. As new, unfired. C&R
