CASED H.NOCK DELUXE PERCUSSION MUFF PISTOL
SERIAL NUMBER (NA) BARREL 2-1/4" CALIBER .45 PERCUSSION. MANUFACTURED 1850'S. Wonderfully case in the European fashion with silver washed Hawksly flask,barrel wrench , caps and Unwin and Rodgers large side knife with tooled leather scabbard. Pistol is mounted with checkered walnut stocks with silver Lion Head grip cap. Frame is English engraved with "H Nock" on left side. Screw barrel with spring activated folding trigger. Silver mounted side knife with Unwin & Rodgers marking on ricasso with stag handle. and cross hatch tooled leather scabbard with nickel silver throat and tip. Housed in a period French fitted case with mother of pearl, brass and burl wood inlays. CONDITIONS, Very fine with pistol having a toned patina and properly functioning action. Knife is very good with good mounts and grips and marking are legible and strong ( possibly added at a later period.) Blade is lightly polished. Scabbard is fine with supple leather and solid stitching. Flask is very fine with most all contemporary silver wash remaining. Case lining is restored with contemporary material and is very fine. A very attractive Gentleman's set in fine condition. ANTIQUE
