Tipping & Lawden of Birmingham England were licensed by Sharps. This is a Model 2 in .30 rim fire caliber. The name and Sharps pat. are stamped in circle on right side of frame. The barrels have Birmingham proof marks. The frame is nickel plated and the four barrels are high polish English blue. The grips are floral gutta percha. The barrels retain about 95% original finish while frame retains about 90% original nickel with some light bubbling. The grips are near mint. The firing pin rotates. Bores are fairly clean. This fine little gun comes in a period correct burl walnut display case with blue liner. This is one of the finest Tipping examples we have ever seen. A
