Designed by Charles Eames for Herman Miller, this chair and ottoman offers tufted black leather upholstering on a Brazilian rosewood finished frame. Each piece bears signature "Herman Miller" tags adhered to the underside. Purchased from Susan Moss Interiors of Bloomfield Hills, MI in 1989. Accompanied by owner's catalog.
Condition Report: Shows use; nicks to metal bases, 1 1/2" abrasion to wood frame on the side of the chair's lower back as wells as some small nicks to the edges of the wood, honest wear to leather on the chair and ottoman, severe wear to arm rests (visible in photos), 1 screw & washer (base of ottoman) is unattached but included separately. The ottoman has some small nicks to the leather. The chair does not appear to have any tears to the leather aside from the damage on both arm rests. CP/RB
