This wine has always been a gem, gentle, velvety and sweet, with an unbelievably spicy, intoxicating bouquet - spellbinding stuff. In 2010, it remains one of my top Lafites and I feel privileged to know it as I do. Rich treacle and heather, with that Lafite sweetness and lace, touches of toffee and oodles of great ripe fruit.
