CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN MOON FLASK
Ca.1644-1911; Qing dynasty or later. This interesting bue and white "pilgrim flask" is finely painted in bright cobalt blue with roundels of warriors riding horses, in Chinese traditional landscapes on a ground of scrolling lotus. The body is of circular flattened form, fitted with a narrow cylindrical neck with flanking applied dragon-shaped handles linking the neck and body.
