CHINESE CLOISONNE BRONZE VASE
Large Archaic Form Chinese Champleve Bronze Vase, in ovoid form with high squared shoulder, concave flared neck, small flat rim, four rectilinear buttresses with carnelian cabochon mounts, the champleve in floral band at shoulder, lotus blossoms in key-textures scalloped edge fields in the first side rank, below which are polychrome tao-tie masks in champleve, signed on the underside, (punched for lamp conversion), also drilled low on one side for cord, remnants of clay firing residue on the interior, 14 3/4" x 9 3/4" diam. Nice warm patina.
