The current work is a rare painting by the seminal art critic of the Abstract Expressionist and New York School, Clement Greenberg. Especially interesting, is that it was a gift from Greenberg to another important figure in the history of Abstract Expressionism, and one of its original proponents, Theodoros Stamos.
