COLOURED SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, 'ORCHIDÉE', CARTIER

Designed as a line of collet-set brilliant-cut diamonds, suspending an orchid motif pavé-set with similarly cut diamonds of pink and near colourless tint, supporting a pendant set with cushion-shaped pink sapphires, length approximately 415mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay marks for gold and maker's marks, one part deficient.

Condition Report:
Please note that the diamonds of pink tint have not been tested for natural colour origin.

Signed Cartier, numbered 19850B, French maker's mark, assay mark and stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 9.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity. Please note that it is likely that there was a smaller jewel attached to the central part of the orchid which is now deficient. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 47 grams.
