A discreet looking watch with a lot of charm and the typical Cartier styling, the Ronde was born in 1937 from a direct idea of Louis Cartier and has always been built in small production runs. The circular case was something relatively new in Cartier’s universe but the present example from the 50’s strikes for its beauty and audacity. The yellow gold circular case has a double stepped pink gold bezel and thin straight lugs that perfectly wrap and adorn wrist. Despite the small dimensions the presence of this timepiece is notable also thanks to its dial: matte silver with black arabic numerals and inner minutes track, also has bleu steel Breguet hands.
