Composed of a flexible double-loop rope chain, terminating at one end with a panther head set with round diamonds, the eyes set with pear-shaped emeralds, and the nose applied with onyx, the panther's mouth opens to receive the other end of the necklace, accented by a spacer pavè-set with round diamonds, length 16½ inches, signed Cartier, numbered No. 39 and BCB947, with maker's and French assay marks.

Condition Report:
In good condition, the mounting with only a few light surface scratches commensurate with light wear, noticeable upon close inspection. Stamped AU750 and with French assay mark for 18 karat (white) gold. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.50 carats, are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Gross weight approximately 27 dwts. Dimensions of panther head approximately 1 x ¾ inch. To release clasp, pull panther's chin down.
