14 kt., the rectangular finely ribbed compact outlined in black and white enamel, with cover centering a square plaque of multicolored enamel of white love doves and floral motif, outlined in platinum-set rose-cut diamonds, with rectangular sugarloaf cabochon black onyx thumbpiece flanked by 2 old-mine cut diamonds, reverse with personal monogram, the sides applied with a black enamel leaf and scrolled ribbon decoration, opening to reveal a mirror, covered compartment, lipstick holder and open compartment with top of lipstick holder, signed Cartier, no. 1315, c. 1920, enamel loss, lipstick holder missing, ap. 80 dwts. gross. 2 7/8 x 1 3/4 x 7/16 inches.
