The Cartier Tank is one of the most iconic watches ever designed. The case shape was modeled on the plan view of a WWI Renault tank. The design was extremely popular over the years and remains a best-seller today. The Tank Francaise was an updated form factor, introduced in the early 2000s. The case shape is slightly squarer for a more contemporary look. The present example has been customized with aftermarket diamonds on the case.
Condition Report: Dial is in very good condition, with some light discoloration on the bottom edge. Case is excellent, with some scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.
