Royal Doulton Character Jug, Catherine Howard D6692 (brown, gold and white coloration). Designed by Peter Gee. Series: Henry VIII and His Six Wives; Royalty, issued 1984 - 1989. Size: 4"H (Small) Niece to the Duke of Norfolk, Catherine Howard (1521 - 1542) became Henry VIII's fifth wife on July 28, 1540, in a marriage arranged by her family. In 1541 Henry accused her of adultery and had her beheaded at the Tower of London.
