Ceramic object, Sculpture
Oblivion is a white porcelain sculpture that is part of a series. It is a unique piece created by me and consisting of a porcelain bowl with chamotte (sand) with very thin plates inside also made from porcelain, in the guise of crumpled sheets. Diameter: 19 cm Height: approx. 11 cm Of all the materials I have experimented with, ceramic is the one that has allowed me to express myself more fully. In particular, I work with Paper Clay porcelain, a mix of porcelain and paper cellulose, a true ceramic technique that gave me great creative freedom and allowed me to find a new and personal expressive path. All my work is about fragility and lightness. It is a non-conceptual approach that investigates the possibilities of the material, sometimes taken to its extreme consequences.
