[ translate ]

\Artist: Cerchia di Antonio Gianlisi (1677 - 1727)
Technique: Oil on canvas\Signature: Not signed\Dimensions: 81. 5_106_4_cm
Lombard artist of the XVII-XVIII century, circle of Antonio Gianlisi (1677 - 1727) , “Composizione di fiori”, oil on canvas, size canvas only: 63 x 87. 5 cm, size with frame: 81. 5 x 106 cm. With carved and gilded wooden frame from the first half of the 20th century. The painting is accompanied by an authentication by the critic Ferdinando Arisi (considered the greatest expert in antique Piacenza painting, he dedicated many studies to Gianlisi, who was of Piacenza origin) , which certifies its historical originality and attributes it to the restricted circle of Antonio Gianlisi in the Cremonese period. Large-sized artwork of high pictorial quality, it is typical of the production of still lifes that made Antonio Gianlisi and his prolific workshop famous. Further studies could lead to identifying with certainty the identity of the painter who executed it, among the people who worked with Gianlisi and were his followers. State of conservation: the painting has been relined and has undergone some restorations. There is also an impoverishment and thinning of the pictorial surface, especially in the upper part. The clear white lead brushstrokes retain their full materiality and relief; the dark backgrounds are more impoverished. With certificate of authenticity and lawful origin issued by our gallery, in addition to the document by Arisi. The work will be shipped via express courier within 24/48 hours with insurance. Please note that in case of sale abroad, the item can be shipped only after obtaining the authorisation for export from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage (Certificate of free circulation of Fine Arts) . This usually takes about 20 days. At the moment, due to restrictions to contain the Covid 19 epidemic, waiting times may be longer. The costs for shipments abroad include the cost of documents for Fine Art export and any customs procedures. Customers who wish to receive a registered invoice are reminded to provide their fiscal coder for the issuance of the electronic invoice by sending a message immediately after payment.
