Very rare exquisitely opulent high polish gold-tone Chanel chain link belt with four leaf Clover CC Charm from the period during which Karl Lagerfeld was appointed as head designer (1983) and he sought consciously to evoke the style and quality of Chanel's iconic designs, while giving them a modern aesthetic. The following year he appointed Victoire de Castallane to head up jewellery design, and she produced most of the famous Chanel pieces that are so collectible and continue to inspire today. She was employed from 1984 until 1998, an amazingly creative period. As you can see it is possible to wear as a necklace.
