Marigolds are reflected hauntingly in the dark window, imparting a lonely late night atmosphere. Impasto brush work adds texture and depth to the piece. Signed by artist on lower left corner; title of piece written on back. Charles Vavrina was a modern impressionist painter who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Hong Kong in 1989.
