Charles Vital-Cornu (French, 1851-1927), patinated bronze sculpture titled 'Seraphina', late 19th century, depicting a woman wearing 19th century garb including a hat with feather plumes and a dress with a portrait collar and laced bodice, standing holding a cane in one hand, the whole rising on a rectangular plinth marked 'Seraphina, Salon de Beaux Arts' and having the foundery mark of the 'Societe des Bronzes de Paris', 28"h x 21"w x 7.5"d. (Previous loss to the cane held in her hands.)
