Chair, model Lounge Chair, American design by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller / Vitra. Designed in 1956, produced by Vitra. Three-dimensionally shaped laminated wood shells wtih darker wooden veneer, cushions with black leather cover, swivel foot and back joints of cast aluminium in black varnish, edges polished. Fitted with white gliders.
Approx. dimensions: H 78 cm, W 87 cm, D 91 cm.
Wear commensurate with age, leather of padding with slight patina and partly minor scratches and seat folds. The wooden shells also have minor scratches and minimal edge chipping, one fastening screw missing underneath the arm rests.
