Belonging to the Dubourdieu family since 1924, Château Doisy-Daëne is located in Barsac, and covers a vineyard area of over 18 hectares, planted for 86% with a semillon and 24% with sauvignon blanc, and completely renewed between the 50s and 60s. Among the rows, pesticides, herbicides and chemical products of any kind are banned, and only organic fertilizers and vegetable-based compounds are used. Taking care of their vines as if they were the plants of a garden, the grapes that are harvested at Château Doisy-Daëne are precious, concentrated and rich in aromas, so they translate into equally excellent, deep and aromatic wines. Producing two different lines of labels, one falling under the AOC Sauternes and the other corresponding to a dry white Bordeaux wine, the bottles of Château Doisy-Daëne appear to be of the highest quality, and become unparalleled in the best vintages.
