Pre-Columbian, North Coast of Peru, Chavin-Cupisnique, ca. 1200 to 800 BCE. An elegant pottery bottle boasting a spherical body adorned with 3 trios of vertical dashed lines that accentuate its curvaceous form. Sitting upon a flattened base, the orb-like body is surmounted by an elongated, conical neck that culminates in a flared rim. Size: 7" Diameter x 9.5" H (17.8 cm x 24.1 cm)
