Chest of drawers - Victorian - Mahogany, Wood - Late 19th century
Victorian chest of drawers, a so-called Tall Boy, standing on turned feet, with three large and two small drawers. There is also a hidden large drawer above the two small drawers. If you take out one of the small school drawers, you can reach in and unlock the hidden drawer and pull it out (see pictures) .
Solid mahogany or veneered on solid beech wood. If you look at the chest of drawers from the front, you can see the typical flamed grain of the mahogany. Solid turned mahogany handles with pewter inlays. Decorated pilaster strips made of hand-carved elements.
Original locks. Keys are not available.

Condition:
Untouched, unrestored original but fully functional condition. The chest of drawers can be fully loaded, so you can take the drawers in and out without any effort. Preserved in our workshop. This means that all loose and loose veneers and parts such as the feet and decorations were re-glued, preserving the entire as-is condition. Cracks and joints are visible on all sides, like a long joint on the cover plate. Original surface with preservation of the patina, which is clearly visible in the detailed photos. Additionally preserved with our wax polish and lightly polished to a satin finish.

If you take out one of the small shoulder drawers, you can reach in and unlock the hidden shoulder drawer and pull it out (see pictures) .
