Chester Fields American Bronze Eagle Sculpture 52"

Large scale limited edition cast bronze sculpture by Chester Field (1945- Washington / Oregon) "Building for the Future" depicts the magnificent Bald Eagle as a master nest builder. Their huge nests, called aeries, hundreds of pounds of sticks, moss and branches need tall sturdy tress to hold them. Some nests are centuries old. This compelling piece is cast in bronze, enhanced with silver plated head and tail with a gold finished beak, feet and eyes. The base is elegant marble. Measures approximately 46" x 25" with an overall height of 52". Signed Chester Fields 1989 and numbered 65/75. Good condition with mild surface wear and tarnish. Hill Auction Gallery will not ship.
