Only 3640 copies of this model were produced in 1954, now very few are left and they are very sought-after by collectors all over the world. The car was completely serviced for brakes, engine, suspension, petrol system, transmission and interior, replacing any worn parts or pieces somehow subject to wear, whitewall tyres are new (spoked type, for maximum comfort and driving safety) . Chrome steel rims were an option at the time. A full service was just finished, with replacement of filters, spark plug cables, distributor, and everything possible to make the car totally perfect in mechanical terms. This car is in perfect working order and reliable even for long journeys. It can be picked up personally and driven home. The excellent condition of the car and chrome make it a desirable item to have in your garage. The car was approved in Italy by the current owner. The car was upgraded more than 30 years ago (in 1989) going from the old 6L equipped on this model until 1955, up to a new, much more reliable and powerful 8V engine, the same type already used on this Corvette series in the following years. Later it was equipped with the prestigious Certificate of Identity TARGA ORO by ASI, the greatest Italian historic car organisation. This has ensured its excellent and original condition for over 30 years. The car (including the 327 Cubic Inch engine upgrade) can therefore obtain the international FIVA certificate and participate in the prestigious Italian Mille Miglia race, based on the year of construction 1954.
