The second generation of the Corvette started in 1963 and ended in 1967. This version was designed by Larry Shinoda and inspired by the project Q Corvette, the car produced and designed by Peter Brock and Chuck Pohlmann under the supervision of Bill Mitchell. Other sources of inspiration were the lines of the Jaguar E-Type and the so-called Mitchell Sting Ray, a special car owned by the same Mitchell which was inspired by the shapes and colours of the Mako shark. The Corvette C2 is seen less and less frequently and is starting to become a rarity on the streets, the car has a special and cool look, especially in this deep red paint. This car starts straight away, idles nicely, accelerates powerfully and shifts smoothly through all gears. The Corvette engine with Edelbrock manifold and upgraded carburettor with 340HP provides enough power! The original interior still looks very neat, the seats were revised in the past and the carpet has been renewed. The Corvette has nice 912 Silver Blue paint, it was repainted 19 years ago and has some minor wear which is only visible up close. The car has recently been serviced, the gearbox was fully overhauled in 2019. The car is auctioned with complete maintenance history (a complete bookwork with photos and invoices) . The engine was overhauled in 2001 by the then French owner (pictures included) . The Dutch owner (from 2003 - present day) always maintained the car well.
