Very nice and original Chevrolet Cosworth Vega. This exclusive classic is number 1,766 of 2,061 Cosworth Vegas built in 1975, it is in very beautiful condition. With only 4,350 original miles (less than 7,000 km) , it really is unique! Factory options include the four-speed gearbox, black bucket seats, AM/FM stereo and rear window heating. Even the original gold-coloured 13-inch rims are included (see photo) . This special Chevrolet Vega has a hand-built 2L aluminium Cosworth engine with 120 hp, double overhead camshafts and fuel injection. The bonnet, the roof and the boot lid have been repainted in the past. The production version of the Cosworth Vega twin-cam engine was developed by Chevrolet with a cylinder head design by Cosworth Engineering in England. The Vega was introduced to the public at the Chicago Auto Show in February 1975. In short, a rare piece of car history. The Vega comes with the original booklets, a folder with documentation, a Dutch registration, a new set of gaskets for the engine, a new timing belt and a Dutch periodic vehicle inspection.
