This gorgeous brooch/pendant was created by Elizabeth Locke in the end of the 1990’s – beginning of 2000’s.
Her jewelry is inspired by traveling the world and history, especially Italian and Greek. This stylish brooch is a wonderful example of it.
An oval intaglio featuring a Roman man profile is a highlight of this piece. It is made of carved art glass put on top of mother-of-pearl. The intaglio is framed in 18k yellow gold and accented with six emerald cut garnets.
