Chinese 19 Century Gold painting on Black Lacquer Sewing Box with drawer to base, bail handles to sides; together with a Victorian Chinoiserie folding bracket Shelf in black & gold over papier mache. Age related wear to lacquer on sewing box with shrinkage cracks and chips to lacquer, one foot missing; the bracket shelf with a few chips and age related wear to design with 1 hinge loose. Height of box 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm.) X width of box 11 3/4 inches (30 cm.).
