A Chinese blue ground dragon robe dating from the 19th century. The robe features 8 dragons, 1 secret dragon panel, a wave and rock motif, Shou medallions, cranes and other auspicious symbols.
Dimensions: 55 inches tall X 83 inches wide; 139.7 cm tall X 210.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition, never worn.
Provenance: From Dr. Pung Cheng, a professor emeritus at SUNY Stony Brook. These items were collected by his grandfather who brought them from Shanghai in 1949.
