Description: Chinese Blue and White Dish, a Square Vase and a Snuff Bottle
18th-19th Century
The first, the cavetto painted with five auspicious buddhistic emblems alternating with flowering branches, the exterior sides similarly decorated with eight auspicious emblems, the bottom with underglaze blue double-encircled six-character Chenghua mark; the second, painted on all sides with flowering branches from a rocky outcrop, unmarked; and the third, moonflask form, painted on opposing sides with mountain river landscape, the underside with underglazed blue four-character Qianlong mark. The first with rim flecks; the second with scattered glaze imperfections and glaze chips to corners and base; the third lacking stopper.
