Chinese Blue & White Ware: Plates (18th – 20th
Three painted porcelain plates, the first with a dragon motif on interior and vine motif and character motif on exterior, 12” diameter, 1 ¾” deep; The second purported late 18th/ early 19th Century plate with temple and landscape motif, 10” diameter; The third a floral pattern interior with branches and stamp or mark underneath, 9 ¾” diameter; The fourth a charger with dragon motif interior and character stamp underneath, 14 ½” diameter 2 ¼” deep. Condition Report: The second with some tiny pitting and some small rim chips; The third with some pitting and several rim chips and a small firing crack underneath, The fourth with three blister chips, a few pits and interior ring crack and a ½” rim chip underneath and a small crack in foot underneath; Otherwise all in apparently good aged condition.
