Chinese Butterfly Shaped Sectional Plates, Republic

A set of eight Chinese famille rose sectional plates in the shape of a butterfly dating from the Republic period. They come in a wooden tray. Each plate features one of the Eight Immortals. The bottom of each plate is incised "CHINA."

Dimensions are: the central plate measures 1 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide, 3.8 cm X 15.9 cm, while the tray measures 12 1/2 inches tall X 19 1/2 inches wide, 31.8 cm X 49.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Two plates have minuscule chips to the rim, but all are in overall good condition. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
