Chinese Carved Agate Snuff Bottle, 18-19th Century
A Chinese carved agate snuff bottle dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The snuff bottle is carved with a pair of monkeys on 1 side and a pair of guardian lion handles on the sides. The coral and turquoise stopper has no spoon.
Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 6.4 cm X 5.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good condition with natural inclusions to the stone. The stopper has been repaired.
Provenance: From a Connecticut gentleman's private collection; assembled over the past 25 years.
