Chinese Falang Vase with Enamel, Republic

A Chinese falang vase with enamel dating from the Republic period. The vase features western women and children with bats in high relief at the shoulders and includes 5 seals. The bottom features a 4-character mark.

Dimensions: 16 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide; 40.6 cm tall X 21.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From Mr. Loh in Los Angeles, California; a family heirloom. This collection was acquired in Singapore by Mr. Loh's family over 65 years ago. It was shipped to the US following the death of Mr. Loh's mother.
