Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Vase
DESCRIPTION: Famille verte porcelain vase with a shouldered design. Decorated with a courtyard scene on the side and a mountainside scene on the neck. Area between two scenes is decorated with four images-one of cloth, one of two scrolls, one of a vessel, and one of a piece of clothing-flanked by a floral motif, bordered on the bottom with a curvilinear motif, and bordered on the top with an angular floral and foliage pattern. Lip of vase is decorated with a Chinese key pattern, and bottom of vase is decorated with a floral and foliage pattern against a background with a mosaic design.
