Chinese hand painted semi-translucent porcelain bowl, unmarked, Kangxi period porcelain quality and decorations. On the outer side of the bowl are the artemisia leaves and the 'two-books' symbols. 'Two books' symbol is a sign of scholars and protection from evil spirits.
