Chinese Jade Vase with Mythical Beasts, 18th Century
A Chinese jade vase with mythical beast handles and dating from the 18th century. The vase stands on a foot, and the front and back are carved with 2 stylized ruyi bands. The central medallion is carved with 5 dragons against a Greek key background, and the top rim has a Greek key border.
Dimensions are: 8 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide, 22.2 cm X 10.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There are natural inclusions and seams in the stone and a few 2 mm chips in the rim. Overall good condition. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
