Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD or earlier. A carved mottled green stone ink pot with cuboidal body, chamfered corners and six raised circular mouths to the upper face of the vessel. 292 grams, 91mm (3 1/2"). From an important North West London collection; acquired in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
