Chinese Ming Celadon Plate and Song Hutian Bowl
The Ming celadon plate has a peony sculpted in the center of the plate surrounded by a ring of scalloped embellishment and circled by a ring of figurative clouds. The plate also has a partial finish to the interior that has mostly worn off. The Song bowl has a light blue green tint glaze with stylized clouds. The exterior of the bowl has lotus pedals surrounding the unglazed base. The bowl has a crackle glaze finish.
Dimensions are: Ming plate: 2 3/8 inches tall X 12 1/2 inches diameter; 6.03 cm tall X 31.75 cm diameter. Song bowl: 2 3/8 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches diameter; 6.03 cm tall X 16.51 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The Ming plate has kiln warping. No other damage noted.
