Chinese Pink Enamel Snuff Bottle, 18-19th Century
A Chinese enamel snuff bottle dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The snuff bottle is pink ground with white vine tracery and two 6-lobed flower vignettes, one with a cat and butterfly, and the other has a sheep and two lambs.
Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition, though the stopper has no spoon.
Provenance: From the estate of Dr. F. Prussing in Long Beach, CA. These items were acquired by Dr. Prussing before 1980.
