Chinese Qing Jasper Seal Pair

Late Qing Dynasty, 1616-1911 AD. A carved jasper two-part seal, zoomorphic in profile with taotie mask, square design in low relief to one half and incuse to the other; lug pierced for attachment. 143 grams total, 70mm each (2 3/4"). Property of a London doctor; previously in the collection of her husband by inheritance; formerly acquired during travels in the Far East during the 1920s. [2, No Reserve]
